The Role

We are seeking a mid-level Business Development Executive to drive new business acquisition and expand Eleven’s client base across SaaS, publishing, agencies, and digital-first sectors. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, prospecting leads, building relationships with senior decision-makers, and closing deals. The role requires strong sales instincts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to articulate the value of SEO/GEO-led content marketing. Day to day, you will work directly with the leadership team, CEO, COO and Account Managers to ensure a smooth handover of new clients.

As such, you must be:

  • A proactive relationship builder with proven sales and negotiation skills
  • Experienced in cold outreach, inbound lead follow-up, and in-person networking
  • Experience is marketing, with SEO and content marketing being an advantage
  • Comfortable presenting to and negotiating with senior stakeholders
  • Interested in marketing and able to contribute to sales and marketing campaign ideas
  • Organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently while remove and manage multiple priorities

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and prospect potential clients across target geographies (UK, US, Europe, Middle East)
  • Qualify inbound leads and generate new ones through outbound outreach (LinkedIn, events, referrals)
  • Lead discovery calls and deliver tailored sales pitches, proposals, and presentations
  • Manage and evolve the sales pipeline and platform. Experience in CRM tools such as Pipedrive and HubSpot is essential
  • Follow up diligently on all opportunities and maintain clear records in CRM
  • Lead negotiations and close new business deals
  • Contribute to Eleven’s marketing initiatives with ideas for campaigns and outreach
  • Attend client meetings and industry events (travel within UK and occasionally internationally)
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and senior leadership to ensure smooth handover of new clients
  • Report weekly on sales activity, pipeline, and forecasting

Desired Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Proven B2B sales track record, ideally in digital marketing, media, or SaaS
  • Experience with cold outreach, lead generation, and closing deals
  • Strong understanding of content marketing, SEO, and digital trends
  • Proficiency in sales tools: HubSpot, Pipedrive, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Google Workspace, ClickUp, Slack
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage pipeline and sales administration with precision
  • Strong presentation and networking skills
  • Comfortable working remotely and independently

Pay & Logistics

  • £30 per hour / £50,000 per annum + commission
  • OTE: £80,000
  • Full-time, fully remote with flexible schedule
  • Regular travel in the UK for sales meetings and team sessions in London
